U3014 Dunstan Square to Embleton - Temporary Road Closure

U3014 DUNSTAN SQUARE TO EMBLETON LINKS EMBLETON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U3014 Dunstan Square to Embleton Links from 190 metres eastwards of its junction with Embleton Alnwick District Footpath 014 heading eastwards for a distance of 135 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 20th March 2025 until the 4th April 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 20th March 2025 until the 28th March 2025 between the hours of 08:30 and 15:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 4th April 2025.
There will be no alternative route available for the duration of the TTRO.

The closure has been requested by Dutton Traffic Management to carry out overhead pole maintenance. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
