What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

BURGAGE WALK, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from a point outside PMR Motor Repairs.

Reason for Order: To enable new utility supply works.

Order Commences: 17 March 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 19 March 2025.

Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

Contractor: For National Grid, Network Plus, Tel: 08006 783 105.


COTON ROAD, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Avenue Road/Chapel Street and Church Street/Queens Road.

Reason for Order: To apply/amend road markings and layout, weeknights 20.00hrs-06.00hrs

Order Commences: 17 March 2025 for up to 18 months

Anticipated Completion: 28 March 2025

Access & Diversion: Anti clockwise diversion – Jubilee Way, Corporation Street Rbt, Newtown Road, Newtown Road Rbt, Bond Street, Regent Street, Leicester Road, Weddington Road, Hinckley Road (A47), Hinckley Road Rbt, Eastboro Way (A4252), Eastboro Way Rbt, Townsend Drive, Garrett Street, Avenue Road, Coventry Road Rbt.

Clockwise diversion – Coventry Road Rbt, Avenue Road, Garrett Street Rbt (A4254), Townsend Drive, Eastboro Way Rbt, Eastboro Way (A4252), Hinckley Road Rbt, Hinckley Road (A47), Leicester Road, Church Street Rbt.

D1039 QUEEN ELIZABETH ROAD, CAMP HILL, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with Hazel Road and Hilary Road.

Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing, reinstatement of traffic calming features and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.

Order Commences: 17 March 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 21 March 2025.

Access & Diversion: Queen Elizabeth Road, B4114 (Tuttle Hill, Camp Hill Road), Bucks Hill, Queen Elizabeth Road and vice versa. Vehicular access/egress to/from adjoining roads may be restricted whilst works are in progress.

PUBLIC FOOTPATH FROM INCHFORD CLOSE TO LUTTERWORTH ROAD, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Footpath closed to all traffic.

Reason for Order: Substation works due to faulty transformer.

Order Commences: 17 March 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 4 April 2025.

Access & Diversion: Lutterworth Road, Crowhill Road, Rainsbrook Drive, Leam Close, Footpath From Leam Close To Inchford Close and vice versa.

RYE PIECE RINGWAY, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from King Street to Coventry Road.

Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.

Order Commences: 16 March 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 16 March 2025.

Access & Diversion: Coventry Road, Black Bank, Coventry Road, Longford Road, Pickford Way, A444 RBT (M6 Junction 3), A444 Bedworth Bypass, Coventry Road, Nuneaton Road, Leicester Road, Rye Piece Ringway and vice versa.

Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
