Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic And Suspension Of One Way

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 25/2/25 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Gaolgate St, B5066 North Walls Link, B5066 North Walls and Malt Mill Ln. 

The One-Way Orders on Stafford Street, Salter Street, Eastgate Street and B5066 North Walls are temporarily suspended for the duration of this Order.

The Order will come into operation on 3/3/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 28/3/25. 

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the structural maintenance works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Temporary Prohibition Of Pedestrians – Various Link Footways, Stone

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 25/02/2025 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit pedestrians along:

From 21 Ernald Gardens to 31 Ernarld Gardens, Friars Avenue to rear of 43 Ernald Gardens, From 55 Clinton Gardens to 45 Clinton Gardens, From 34 Friars Avenue to 42 Friars Avenue, From 57 Clinton Gardens to 67 Clinton Gardens, 69 Downing Gardens, At Side of 46 Friars Avenue, From 12 Austin Close to 22 Austin Close, From Tiling Drive to Runnymede (Footbridge), From Pirehill Lane to Spring Gardens, From Wood Lane to link footway Pirehill Lane to Spring Gardens, From 32 Heath Gardens to link footway Pirehill Lane to Spring Gardens, From Heath Gardens to link footway Pirehill Lane to Spring Gardens, From Beacon Rise to Hill Grove, From Meadow Way to Lea Road, From Meadow Way to Croft Road, From Redfern Road to Marlborough Road, From Common Lane to Birchfields Close, From Birchfields Close to Newlands Close, Tannery Walk & Brandon Walk; Stone.

The Order will come into operation on 03/03/2025 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. 

It is anticipated the works will be completed by 30/05/2025. 

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the footway resurfacing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic

The Order will come into operation on 3/5/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date.

It is anticipated the works will be completed by 15/5/25. 

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the carriageway resurfacing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 3/3/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. 

It is anticipated the works will be completed by 14/3/25. 

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the cabling works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 4/3/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. 

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the defective manhole cover replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 27/2/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. 

It is anticipated the works will be completed by 1/3/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the gully sucking works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:

The Order will come into operation on 18/3/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. 

It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. 

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the overhead cabling works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 17/03/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 20/03/25. 

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the new gas service laying works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 18/03/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. 

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the manhole cover replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 17/03/2025 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. 

It is anticipated the works will be completed by 19/03/2025. 

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pipe fan installation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 15/03/2025 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. 

It is anticipated the works will be completed by 16/03/2025. 

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the railway tamping works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
