Pound Lane, Temporary Road Closure Due To Gas Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - POUND ROAD, BURSLEDON, EASTLEIGH
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Pound Road between its junction with Hamble Lane and its junction with Priors Hill Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Hamble Lane, Portsmouth Road, Pound Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 10th March 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Friday 21st March 2025 and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
