What is happening?
UPPER BUSH ROAD, CUXTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a new electrical cable to be installed -
Upper Bush Road, Cuxton - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of “Beeches View”. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. No alternative route is available. Emergency access will be maintained.
This Order will come into force on Monday, 3 March 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 3 March 2025 and are programmed for completion within five days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

JOHN STREET, ROCHESTER
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable drainage works to be carried out -
John Street, Rochester - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of “Man of Kent” (6-8 John Street). Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via East Row, Maidstone Road and Hoopers Road.
This Order will come into force on Monday, 10 March 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 10 March 2025 and are programmed for completion within ten days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

MAIDSTONE ROAD AND GIBRALTAR HILL, CHATHAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable highway maintenance and road lining works to be carried out -
Maidstone Road and Gibraltar Hill, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular
traffic (a) in Railway Street from the junction with Gibraltar Hill for a distance of 50 metres in a southerly direction and (b) in Gibraltar Hill from (but not including) the junction with Old Road to the junction with Railway Street. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Pattens Lane and City Way.
Southbound traffic in Maidstone Road will be required to turn left into Gibraltar Hill. The ‘No right turn’ restriction from Pattens Lane on to Maidstone Road will be suspended whenever the road closures are in place.
This Order will come into force on Thursday, 27 March 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Thursday, 27 March 2025 and are programmed for completion within two nights (with works taking place between 11.55pm and 5am). The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

PUMP LANE, RAINHAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable the structural integrity of telephone poles to be tested -
Pump Lane, Rainham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of “Chapel House”. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Lower Rainham Road, Station Road, High Streeet, Bloors Lane and Beechings Way.
This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 18 March 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 18 March 2025 and are programmed for completion within one day (with works taking place between 9.30am and 3.30pm. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
