TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (East) (No.5) Order 2025” authorising the stopping up of an irregular shaped western part width of Sherd Close at Luton, in the Borough of Luton This is to enable development as permitted by Luton Borough Council, under reference 19/01646/FUL.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/E/S247/5905). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Marsh Farm Library, Lea Manor School, Northwell Drive, Luton, LU3 3TL.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 26 February 2025.
