Order 2025

The Council proposes to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on the following length(s) of road:

  • Diversions will be signed on site where available and required, plans of the closures are available upon request to highways.orders@durham.gov.uk 

    The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 10/3/2025 and are anticipated to be completed in 7 months. On occasions, alternative dates for the closure may be necessary and these will be signed on site accordingly.
