Ar 21 Chwefror 2025, gwnaeth Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) a’r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, Orchymyn a fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio neu deithio ar hyd y darnau o ffordd a nodir yn yr atodlen isod.
Mae angen y Gorchymyn i hwyluso gwaith ar neu ger y briffordd a disgwylir iddo fod yn weithredol rhwng y dyddiadau a’r amseroedd a nodir yn yr Atodlen isod. Mae’r gwaith yn amodol ar y tywydd ac felly gall dyddiadau ac amseroedd amrywio.
Dim ond ar yr adegau ac i’r graddau a nodir ar arwyddion a/neu hysbysiadau sy’n cael eu harddangos y bydd y cyfyngiad dan sylw ar waith. Bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau ar waith am hyd at 18 mis.
Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerbydau’r gwasanaethau brys.
Enw’r Gorchymyn yw "Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd (Gwaith Ail-wynebu Lôn Gerbydau, Caerdydd) (Chwefror a Mawrth 2025) (Cau ffyrdd dros dro) 2025".

The County Council Of The City And County Of Cardiff
(Highway Resurfacing Works, Cardiff) (February And March 2025) (Temporary Road Closures) Order 2025
On the 21st February 2025, The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and of all other enabling powers, made an Order the general effect of which is to prevent any vehicle from using or proceeding along the lengths of road specified in the Schedule below.
This Order is necessary to facilitate works on or near to the highway and is expected to be in operation on the dates and during the times specified in the below Schedule.
The works are subject to weather conditions and therefore dates and time are subject to change.
The restriction specified will only have the effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of signs and/or notices.
The Order will remain in force for a maximum of 18 months.
Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles.
This Order is known as “The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff (Highway Resurfacing Works, Cardiff) (February and March 2025) (Temporary Road Closures) Order 2025”.
Schedule
Between the hours of 9.30am and 3.00pm on Monday 24th February 2025 and Tuesday 25th February 2025
• Church Road from its junction with Cefn Mably Road to its junction with St Mellons Road and Lisvane Road
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this closure will be via Heol- Y-Delyn, Mill Road and Lisvane Road
Between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm on Saturday 1st March 2025 and between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm on Sunday 2nd March 2025
• Mackintosh Place from its junction with Pen-Y-Wain Road to its junction with Daviot Street
• Ty’n-Y-Coed Place and Dalcross Street from their junctions with Mackintosh Place to their junctions with Inverness Place
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the above closures will be via Crwys Road, Fairoak Road, Shirley Road and Pen-Y-Wain Road
Between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm on Saturday 8th March 2025 and between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm on Sunday 9th March 2025
• Cae Glas Road from its junction with Wentloog Road to its junction with Barmouth Road
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this closure will be via Wentloog Road, Ty Fry Road and Cae Glas Road
Between the hours of 9:00am and 6:00pm on Sunday 16th March 2025
• Grand Avenue in a westbound direction from its junction with St Davids Crescent to a point 30 metres west of its junction with Crossways Road
• Crossways Road from its junction with Grand Avenue to its junction with Vachell Road
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the above closures will be via Cowbridge Road West, Green Farm Road and Grand Avenue
