Darlington, Stopping Up of Public Footpaths on Rotary Way

The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highways (North East) (No.03) Order 2025” authorising the stopping up of five lengths of Public Footpath No. 5 which lie to the north of Rotary Way at Darlington, in the Borough of Darlington. This is to enable development as permitted by Darlington Borough Council under reference 22/01342/FULE.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NE/S247/5816). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours Darlington Borough Council, Town Hall, Feethams, Darlington, DL1 5QT.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 21 February 2025.
