What is happening?


THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(KENT ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the have made Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting
vehicles from proceeding on Kent Road in both directions at its junction with Dixon Street.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken on 26 February 2025 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00.
The diversion route is: Dixon Street, Major Street and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate the repair/replacement of a frame and cover by Severn Trent Water.
