What is happening?

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

(Church St, Chesham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Church St for approx. 45M. Alternative route: Church St, Missenden Rd, Chesham Rd, Hyde Heath Rd, Weedon Hill, Fullers Hill, Germain St, St Marys Way and vice versa. The closure is required whilst CCTV Surveys, TOPO Surveys and GPR Surveys, night works only commence on 11 April 2025.The proposed Order will come into operation on 11 April 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Foxes Piece, Marlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Foxes Piece for approx. 89M. No diversion required. The closure is required whilst redevelopment works commence on 28 February 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 28 February 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Fingest Rd, Frieth) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Fingest Rd for approx. 142M. Alternative route: Ibstone Rd, Oxford Rd, The Common, Wycombe Rd, Marlow Rd, Stokenchurch Rd, Fingest Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach works commences on 3 March 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 3 March 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Oakridge Rd, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Oakridge Rd for approx. 23M. Alternative route: Green St, Jubilee Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Thames Water works commences on 15 March 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 15 March 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Mundaydean Ln, Marlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Mundaydean Ln for approx. 220M. The closure is required whilst Thames Water works commences on 5 March 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 5 March 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(West Lane, Bledlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in West Lane for approx. 111M. Alternative route: Chinnor Road, Perry Lane, Church End and vice versa. The closure is required whilst bridge works commence on 24 February 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 24 February 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

THE BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL (TRAFFIC MOVEMENT) ORDER 2021 (AMENDMENT NO 007) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Buckinghamshire Council on 21 February 2025 made the above-named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit motor vehicles along the length of Roughwood Lane, Chalfont St Giles except for permit holders and for access.

A copy of the Order and Plans showing the lengths of road affected, together with a copy of the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm or Friday 9am to 4:30pm at Walton Street Offices, Aylesbury HP20 1UA. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it or that are not within the powers conferred by the Act or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may within six weeks from the date of this Notice apply for that purpose to the High Court.

(Public Bridleway No's. 10/3, 10/2 & 22/1 and Public Footpath No. 11/1, Parish of Piddington Wheeler End) (Temporary Bridleways and Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Bridleway No's. 10/3, 10/2 & 22/1 and Public Footpath No. 11/1, Parish of Piddington Wheeler End. The closure is required in the interest of public safety due to filming on the route. Alternative route as advertised on notices around the route). The proposed Order will come into operation on 20 February 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

(Public Bridleway No's. 133/1 & 131/1 and Public Footpath No. 119/1, Parish of High Wycombe) (Temporary Bridleways and Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Bridleway No's. 133/1 & 131/1 and Public Footpath No. 119/1, Parish of High Wycombe. The closure is required in the interest of public safety due to filming on the route. Alternative route as advertised on notices around the route. The proposed Order will come into operation on 20 February 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

(Public Footpath No. 24/1, Parish of Ludgershall) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of footpath No. 24/1 from the junction of Footpath No's 25/1, 26/1 & 24/2 continuing north to the junction of 24/1 and the A41. The closure is required whilst works are being carried out in the interest of public safety. Alternative route is via the highways. The proposed Order will come into operation on 3 March 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

(Public Footpath No. 25/1, Parish of Ludgershall) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of footpath No. 25/1 continuing north west for approx. 950M. The closure is required whilst works are being carried out in the interest of public safety. Alternative route is via the highways. The proposed Order will come into operation on 3 March 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

(Public Footpath No. 16/2, Parish of Ludgershall) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of footpath No. 16/2 commencing at the junction of Footpath No. 16/2 and the A41 and continuing south to the junction of Footpath No's 17/1, 15/1 & 15/2. (Public Footpath No. 11/1, Parish of Boarstall) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Footpath No. 11/1 commencing at the junction of Footpath No. 11/1 and Four Wind Farms and continues east to the junction of Footpath No's 11/1 & 11/3. The closure is required whilst works are being carried out in the interest of public safety. Alternative route is via the highways. The proposed Order will come into operation on 3 March 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

(Public Footpath No. 7, Parish of St Peter) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath commencing at the junction of 7/2 & 7/3 and continues east to the junction of Footpath 7/5 and Shire Lane. The closure is required whilst works are being executed in the interest of public safety. There is no suitable alternative route. The Order will come into operation on 28 February 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

(Public Footpath No. 6/1 Parish of Grendon Underwood) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length from Footpath No. 6/1 and Main Road and continuing north east to the junction of Footpath No's. 8/3, 8/2 & 6/2. The closure is required whilst works are being carried out in the interest of public safety. There is no alternative route. The proposed Order will come into operation on 3 March 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

(Public Footpath No. 8/3 Parish of Grendon Underwood) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length from Footpath No's. 8/3, 6/1, 6/2 & 8/2 and continuing south east to the junction of Footpath No. 8/3 and North Farm Lane.

(Public Footpath No. 6/1 Parish of East Claydon) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length from Footpath No. 6/1 and continuing south east for the entire length. The closure is required whilst works are being carried out in the interest of public safety. There is no alternative route. The proposed Order will come into operation on 3 March 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

(Public Footpath No. 4/2 Parish of East Claydon) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length from the junction of Footpath No's. 3/2, 4/2 & 4/1 and continuing east to the junction of Footpath No's 1/1, 1/2 & 2/2. The closure is required whilst works are being carried out in the interest of public safety. There is no alternative route. The proposed Order will come into operation on 3 March 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

(Public Footpath No. 3/2 Parish of East Claydon) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length from the junction of Footpath No's. 3/2, 4/2 & 4/1 and continuing north west to the junction of Footpath No's 3/1, 3/2 & 3A/1. The closure is required whilst works are being carried out in the interest of public safety. There is no alternative route.
