What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(B692 FOSSE WAY, BINGHAM (40 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025 (8399)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Bingham in the Borough of Rushcliffe in the County of Nottinghamshire.
1. No person shall drive any vehicle at a speed exceeding 40 miles per hour on that length of road specified in the Schedule of this Order.

B692 FOSSE WAY, BINGHAM
- From its junction with the A6097 roundabout in a south westerly direction for 770 metres
Relevant documents may be inspected during opening hours at:

Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email, by 25th March 2025. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council’s procedures at the appropriate time.

The proposed 40 mph Speed Limit is being introduced to ensure it is more in keeping with the character of the road.
