What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure Plevna Road, Hampton

(Reference 25/019)

  1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to remove obstructive parking and due to the likelihood of danger to the public, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Plevna Road, Hampton.

  2. Whilst the Order is on effect, at any time waiting restrictions and footway parking will be introduced on Plevna Road on its western side between its junctions with Spring Grove and Varna Road.

  3. The order will come into effect on 03 March 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months.

  4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

  5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

    (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

    (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

    (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

  6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Parking Restrictions Willow Avenue, Barnes

(Reference 25/012)

  1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a welfare unit being placed on the highway, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Willow Avenue, Barnes.

  2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in the first 2 parking bays outside number 14 from lamp column 003 as indicated by signs.

  3. The order will come into effect on 21 February 2025. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 21 February to 25 April 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

  4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

  5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

    (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
