The East Sussex (U7207 Harmers Hay Road,
Hailsham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under
Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Harmers Hay Road – from No.18 to No.91.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.
The Order commences 26 February 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 26 February 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (U5143 South Street, Lewes)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
To allow SGN to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road; Temporary Road Closure
South Street – from the junction with P5634 Timberyard Lane to the Snowdrop Inn.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.
The Order commences 24 February 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 24 February and 4 March 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under

Wick Street – from the junction with A27 Eastbourne Road to the junction with U5056 The Street.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U5056 Wick Street – A27 Eastbourne Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 24 February 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 24 and 25 February 2025 depending upon the weather conditions. A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C344 Stunts Green, West End – A271 Hailsham Road, New Road, Amberstone – C15 Featherbed Lane, Cowbeech Hill and vice versa.
The Order commences 21 February 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 21 February 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 To allow BT Openreach to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Sandhill Lane – from the junction with A22 Eastbourne Road to the junction with U7512 Palehouse Common.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U7512 Palehouse Common – B2192 Lewes Road, Heathfield Road – A22 Eastbourne Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 24 February 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 24 and 26 February 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

Wilmington) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
To allow Network Rail to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Thornwell Road – from the junction with A27 Lewes Road to the junction with U7085 Robin Post Lane.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C210 Bayleys Lane – C340 Wilbees Road, The Street, Chilvers Bridge Road - C39 Station Road – A27(T) and vice versa.
The Order commenced 10 October 2023 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 26 and 28 February 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 To allow UKPN to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Bicycle Arms Road – from the junction with U7570 Sheriffs Lane to the junction with A267 Argos Hill.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via B2101 High Cross, Mayfield Road, South Street - B2100 High Street, Church Road, Rotherfield Road – C11 Western Road, Walshes Road, Fermor Road – C254 Hurtis Hill, Sheep Plain – A26 Beacon Road, Eridge Road – C70 Bunny Lane – A267 Frant Road, Frant Green Road, Mayfield Road, Tunbridge Wells Road, Mayfield Road, Tunbridge Wells Road, Argos Hill and vice versa.
The Order commences 21 February 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 21 and 23 February 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
To allow UKPN to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following lengths of road;
Temporary Road Closures
Bodle Street Road – from the junction with U7595 Back Lane to the junction with U7919 Iwood Lane.
Back Lane – from the junction with C16 Bodle Street Road to the junction with C15 Cowbeech Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C16 White Horse Road – C1072 Chilsham Lane – C344 Stunts Green - C15 Cowbeech Road, Foul Mile, Cowbeech Road – C279 Rushlake Green - C16 Back Lane and vice versa.
The Order commences 24 February 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 24 February and 19 March 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (B2192 Ringmer Road, Ringmer)
(Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2025
To allow UKPN to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily restrict all traffic using the following length of road to a speed not exceeding 30 mph:
Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit Ringmer Road – from the junction with C113 New Road to UKPN Lewes Grid Sub Station.
The Order commences 10 March 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated the speed restriction will be in place between 10 March and 22 April 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

The Order commences 13 March 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 13 March 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

To allow South East Water to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via B2157 Green Lane, Eridge Road – A26 Eridge Road – B2100 High Street, The Broadway and vice versa.
The Order commences 11 March 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 11 and 12 March 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

Little Horsted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
To allow UKPN to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
