THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION) (A379 - ROAD FROM SANDY GATE TO RYDON LANE, EXETER) ORDER 2025
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 24/2/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 4/4/25. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.

Roads affected and No personal shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed at a speed greater than 30 miles per hour on the sections of affected roads when temporary traffic signing is in place: A379 - Road From Sandy Gate To Rydon Lane, Exeter, Speed Restriction At All Times Along A379, Road From Sandy Gate To Rydon Lane, Lane Closure Of Lane 1 At All Times, Full Road Closure On 3 Nights Between 19:30 To 06:00 (26Th, 27Th & 28Th March)

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - Road From Sandy Gate To Rydon Lane, A3015 Rydon Lane, Middlemoor Roundabout, A3015 Rydon Lane.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: The Works Will Involve Replacing The Existing Vehicle Restraint Systems (Vrs) At The Bridge Pier.
