What is happening?
CAMBRIDGESHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council intends after 7 days, to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:
Hillrow Causeway A1123, Haddenham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-295
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Hillrow Causeway A1123, Haddenham as lies between Green Acres & Doles Drove. The alternative route for vehicles is via A1123; A1421; A142; A141; A1123 & vice versa. The proposed Order is to facilitate electrical service repair & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 25/3/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 26/9/26 whichever is the earlier.
Pymoor Siding, Pymoor Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-250
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Pymoor Siding, Pymoor as lies between its most southern & most northern access points. The alternative route is formed from its gates & via land to the side. The proposed Order is to facilitate water disconnection works being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 11/3/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 10/9/26 whichever is the earlier.
Fordham Road, Soham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-278
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Fordham Road, Soham as lies adjacent to Charity Road Public House. The alternative route for vehicles is via Fordham Rd; A142; The Shade; Townsend Hall St; Pratt St; Chiquitope St; High St; Chiquitope St; The Shade & vice versa. The proposed Order is to facilitate sewer connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 25/3/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 23/9/26 whichever is the earlier.
Various Roads, East Division Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-260
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along various roads as set out in Schedule 1 below. The Order is necessary for safety reasons to facilitate byway improvement & associated works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 1/3/25 & will continue until these works have finished or on the 31/8/26 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that this order will apply to the locations, at various times during the dates specified in the Schedule.
Access will be maintained to properties affected by these orders. The orders shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with the works or those acting under the statutory powers of the Police, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, or a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting under the instruction or direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
