HYSBYSIAD TRWY HYN fod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd ar gyfer Llangrallo, wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn mewn dim llai na 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, a fydd yn cau dros dro y llwybrau troed a nodir yn yr atodlen isod. Mae'r Gorchymyn er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd i wneud gwaith diogelwch a gwella trwy ddisodli’r bont droed. 

Daw'r Gorchymyn i rym ar 27/02/2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am uchafswm o chwe mis neu nes y bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau, p'un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. 

Fodd bynnag, bydd y cyfyngiad yn berthnasol dim ond ar adegau ac i’r graddau a ddangosir o bryd i’w gilydd ar arwyddion traffig a osodir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016. 

Atodlen - Ni chaiff unrhyw gerddwyr deithio ar y llwybr troed fel y disgrifir isod. Rhan 15 metr o Lwybr Troed 42 Llangrallo Uchaf rhwng Pwynt A (Cyf. Grid SS 9465 8450) a Phwynt B (Cyf. Grid SS 9466 8449) sy'n croesi pont droed dros Nant Cwm-llwyd, tua 60 metr i'r dwyrain o 84 Y Stryd Fawr, Heol-y-Cyw, Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr CF35 6HY. Nid oes llwybr amgen addas ar gael.

Bridgend County Borough Council (Temporary Footpath Closure) (Footpath 42 Coychurch Higher) Order 2025 

Notice Is Hereby Given that the Council as the Highway Authority for Coychurch in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order which will temporarily close the footpaths set out in the schedule below.

The Order is in the interest of public safety to carry out safety and improvement works by replacing footbridge. 

The Order will come into force on the 27/02/2025 and will continue in force for a maximum period of six months or until the works are completed whichever is the sooner. 

The restriction shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. 

Schedule - No pedestrian shall proceed in the footpath as described below. A 15 metre section of Footpath 42 Coychurch Higher between Point A (Grid Ref. SS 9465 8450) and Point B (Grid Ref. SS 9466 8449) which crosses a Footbridge over nant cwm-llwyd, approximately 60 metres east of 84 High St, Heol-y-Cyw, Bridgend CF35 6HY. 

There is no suitable alternative route available.
