Dilston to Corbridge - Temporary Road Closure due to Level Crossing Work

B6321 DILSTON TO CORBRIDGE, CORBRIDGE
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6321 Dilston to Corbridge from 20 metres either side of the level crossing in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st March 2025 until the 2nd March 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st March 2025 until the 2nd March 2025 between the hours of 23:50 and 08:40 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 2nd March 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the A695, B6529, B6321 and vice-versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Chevron Traffic Management to renew level crossing components. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
