Roper Lane, Queensbury - Temporary Road Closure due to Electrical Works

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
ROPER LANE, QUEENSBURY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of electrical works to be executed on or near Roper Lane, Queensbury has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Roper Lane to a point outside No. 17 Roper Lane from its junction with Halifax Road.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Roper Lane (unaffected section), Cross Lane, Moor Close Road, Moor House Parade, Fleet Lane, Ford Hill, Halifax Road and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation on 08:00 hours on the 24th February 2025 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 26th February 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
