Holme Lacy, Temporary Speed Restriction Due To Road Works

What is happening?

Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as the highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: B4399 From Dinedor Mill Bridge To B4224, Holme Lacy, Temporary Speed Restriction Order, to temporarily restrict the speed of vehicles to 10mph. Grid Ref: 356472/236443 to 356104/236209.

The said restriction is required due to hedgerow clearance and verge marker installation works on or near said roads and the likelihood of danger to the public while works are being carried out. The said restriction will be in place for approximately 2 days and will come into force on 17th March 2025. However, the restriction may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State).
