Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
- To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Harlow as specified in schedule 1 to this Order.
- A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway on the above lengths of road for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
“The Essex County Council (Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 13th February 2025, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the roads.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Workers Road, High Laver in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 115m northeast of its junction with Threshers Bush for a distance of approximately 30m in a northwesterly direction.
- The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd March 2025 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30032794150 – UK Power Networks).
- The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
- The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new installation works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
Alternative Route:
- High Laver Road, Wind Hill, Weald Bridge Road, Talbot Roundabout, Canes Lane Diversion, Canes Lane Roundabout, Canes Lane, Hastingwood Roundabout, London Road, Harlow Common, Green Lane and vice versa (with access only into Threshers Bush, Workers Road).
The Order came into effect on 13th February 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is earlier.
(Woodside, North Weald Bassett) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Woodside, North Weald Bassett in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 155m northwest of its junction with Epping Road for a distance of approximately 60m in a northwesterly direction.
- The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th March 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410259050 – Affinity Water).
- The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
- The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pipe relaying works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
Alternative Route:
- High Road, Thornwood Road, The Plain, Epping Road, Woodside and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 13th February 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is earlier.
