SUMMER LANE, BARNSLEY
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
An order has been made to close Summer Lane for a distance of 20 metres either side of railway bridge, between the hours of 22.00 and 06.00 from 26 February 2025 for approximately two nights.
Reason: Access and egress to railway bridge
An alternative route is available via: Pogmoor Road/Dodworth Road Gyratory/Dodworth Road

TEMPORARY 40MPH SPEED RESTRICTION
An order has been made to introduce a 40mph speed restriction on Barnsley Road, from Fall Head Lane to Silkstone By-Pass, from 26 February 2025 for approximately one day.

TEMPORARY ONE-WAY RESTRICTION
An order has been made to introduce a temporary one-way restriction on Rotherham Road, between Pontefract Road and Meadow View, allowing traffic to travel towards Pontefract Road only, from 24th February 2025 for approximately 2 weeks between 20:00 and 05:00 only.
Reason: Installation of underground plant protection.

Cliffe Moor Lane, Crane Moor – Temporary road closure from Gudgeon Hole Lane to Cliffe Farm.
Reason: Vegetation management
