What is happening?

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) C267 (Part), Wootton Rivers; from its property known as Lock House for a distance of approximately 30m in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to repair dangerous cover and other associated works. Alternative route via C267 (unaffected length) - C199 - A346 -Ram Alley Lane - Railway Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 17 March 2025 and the closure will be required for 2 days. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 0345 6004600. B) A3102 (Part), Lyneham and Bradenstoke; from its western junction with South View to its junction with Brook Close. C) South View, Lyneham and Bradenstoke; from its western junction with A3102 to its eastern junction with A3102 to enable RM Contractors to carry out plane and resurfacing carriageway. Alternative route via A3102 (unaffected length) - B4005 - A4 - A3102 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 18 March 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 20:00 and 05:00 for 3 nights. D) UC 898203 (Part), Hullavington; from its property known as Townlease Farm for a distance of approximately 976m in a south easterly direction to enable Openreach to carry out new pole installation and underground structure works and other associated works. Alternative route via UC 898203 (unaffected length) - C33 - C1 - C27 - UC 878301 - UC 898203 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 17 March 2025 and the closure will be required for 3 days. For further information please contact Openreach on 0800 023 2023. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: E) UC 887901, Grittleton, Hullavington and Stanton St Quintin; from its junction with C72 to its junction with UC 887902 to enable Openreach to carry out underground structure access works and other associated works. Alternative route via UC 887902 - C154 - C72 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 February 2025 and the closure will be required for 5 days. F) Collins Lane (Part), Purton; from its junction with Footpath 69, Purton to outside its property known as Diana Cottage to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out minor barrier maintenance and adjustments works and other associated works. Alternative route via Collins Lane (unaffected length) - The Pry - Packhorse - Cricklade Road -Widham - Station Road - Collins Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 25 February 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 23:15 and 05:15 for 1 night. G) Witts Lane (Part), Purton; from its junction with Locks Lane for a distance of approximately 110m in a north westerly direction to enable Gigaclear to carry out blockage clearance work and other associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 26 February 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 for 2 days. H) C101 (Part), Minety; from its property known as New House for a distance of approximately 410m in a north easterly direction to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out barrier maintenance works and other associated works. Alternative route via C101 (unaffected length) - C99 - C76 - C101 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 February 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 23:15 and 05:15 for 1 night. I) Mill Lane (Part), St Paul Malmesbury Without; from its junction with A429 for a distance of approximately 402m in a westerly direction to enable Gigaclear to carry out carriageway blockage works and other associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 25 February 2025 and the closure will be required for 3 days. J) C264 (Part), Wilcot, Huish and Oare; from its junction with A345 for a distance of approximately 1727m in a westerly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to have machinery operating in this area is large and will occupy the majority of the road during the day. For the safety of the workforce and those who use the highway a road closure has been requested. Where possible the road will be re-opened outside of working hours. Access to properties to be maintained. Alternative route via C264 (unaffected length) - Pewsey Road - Alton Road - A345 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 February 2025 and the closure will be required for between the hours of 07:30 and 17:00 for 5 days. For further information please contact Wiltshire Council on 0300 456 0105. Orders A) to J) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

SECTION 14(1) AND 14(7) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Sidmouth Street, Devizes; from its junction with Gains Lane to its junction with Sheep Street. And to temporarily suspend the existing One-Way Order on Sidmouth Street, Devizes to allow access to residents within the closure extent to enable Wessex Water to carry out permanent reinstatement works and other associated works. Alternative route via Gains Lane - Southbroom Road - Nursteed Road - Hare and Hounds Street - Sheep Street and vice versa. The closure, restriction and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 17 March 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 for 2 days. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: A) Bridleway 6 (Part), Ramsbury; from its junction with Footpath 8C, Ramsbury for a distance of approximately 290m in a south easterly direction. B) Footpath 8C (Part), Ramsbury; from its junction with Bridleway 6, Ramsbury for distance of approximately 30m in a north westerly direction to enable to undertake works associated with planning permission. Alternative route via public rights of way network and alternative route provided. The closures and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which was due to expire on 28 February 2025 will now continue in force until 28 August 2025 or until completion of the works, whichever is earliest. (VARIOUS ROADS, ALDBOURNE) (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025 2. THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (C189, ALDBOURNE AND OGBOURNE ST GEORGE) (DERESTRICTED ROADS) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be as follows: Order 1 - To introduce a 20mph speed limit on Castle Street, Aldbourne - from its junction with Marlborough Road to a point 100 metres west of its junction with Westfield Chase; Claridge Close, Farm Lane, Hawkins Road, Hillwood Road, Marlborough Road, Southfields, The Butts, The Downs, The Garlings, Whitley Road, Aldbourne - the complete lengths; Southward Lane, Aldbourne - from its junction with Farm Lane to a point 127 metres south of its junction with The Garlings; Stock Lane, Aldbourne - from its junction with Valley View for a distance of 82 metres in a southerly direction. Order 2 - To introduce a derestricted speed limit (national speed limit) on C189, Aldbourne and Ogbourne St George - from a point 100 metres west of its junction with Westfield Chase, Aldbourne to a point 55 metres northeast of its junction with A346, Ogbourne St George. Deposit copies of the Orders, plan and Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Orders may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen at Aldbourne Library, South Street, SN8 2DW during the hours of 1.30pm to 4.30pm and 5pm to 7pm Monday and Thursday and 10am to 2pm Tuesday until 17 March 2025.
