(U13601 Egg Lane, Bellbroughton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U13601 Egg Lane from its junction with A450 Worcester Road to its junction with C2017 Drayton Road.
Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing over multiple phases by WCC.
Alternative route: C2017 Drayton Road, U13605 Woodrow Lane, C2185 Woodrow Lane, A450 Worcester Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 17 March and 26 March 2024.
(U12009 Meredith Green, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U12009 Meredith Green from its junction with U12001 Walter Nash Road West to its junction with U12006 Bredon Avenue.
Reason: Footpath reconstruction by WCC.
Alternative route: U12001 Walter Nash Road West, U12009 Meredith Green (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing 17 March 2025.
(U11521 Moorhall Lane, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of U11521 Moorhall Lane from its junction with U11522 New Street to its junction with U11500 Lickhill Road.
Reason: Network duct clearance by Comex2000.
Alternative route:
- Diversion Anti-clockwise: U11522 New Street, A451 High Street, U11500 Lickhill Road.
- Diversion Clockwise: U11500 Lickhill Road, A451 Mitton Street, A451 Lion Hill, A451 York Street, U11522 New Street and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing 24 February 2025.
(U11026 Redhouse Road, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U11026 Redhouse Road from its junction with Pearl Lane to its junction with U1027 Elm Green.
Reason: Replacement gas main by S & R Construction.
Alternative route: U11026 Pearl Lane, B4196 Astley, B4196 Areley Common, U11026 Redhouse Road (part) and vice versa.
Access to frontages and properties within the closure must be allowed by contractors.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing 17 March 2025.
(U12049 Beauchamp Avenue, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of U12049 Beauchamp from its junction with A451 Stourport Road to its junction with U12047 Neville Avenue.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Alternative route: A451 Stourport Road, U12046 Northumberland Avenue, U12047 Neville Avenue and vice versa.

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2030 Inn Lane from its junction with C2030 Old Worcester Road to its junction with B4193 Rectory Lane.
Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing over multiple phases by WCC.
Alternative route: B4193 Rectory Lane, C2028 Quarry Bank, C2030 Old Worcester Road and vice versa.

Order made: To close that part of C2018 Clattercut Lane from its junction with A448 Lodge Ford Hill to its junction with U13612 Park Lane.
Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing over multiple phases by WCC.

Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1 – U13602 Sion Hill from its junction with U13601 Egg Lane to its junction with U13602 Hill Pool. Closure 2 – U13602 Hill Pool from its junction with Sion Hill to its junction with C2186 Tandys Lane.
Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing over multiple phases by WCC.
Alternative route: C2186 Tandys Lane, A450 Worcester Road, U13601 Egg Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 17 March 2025 and 26 March 2025.
(A449 Chester Road North, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of A449 Chester Road North from its junction with A456 Birmingham Road (southbound closure only) to its junction with U1522 Linden Avenue.
Reason: Street Lighting by Prysmian Cables and Systems.
No access for emergency services diversion routes must be taken.
Alternative route: A456 Birmingham Road, A456 Coventry Street, A451 The Ringway, A448 Comberton Hill, A449 Chester Road North (part).
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 25 February 2025.
(C2129 Habberley Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of C2129 Habberley Road from its junction with C2129 Hoarstone Lane to its junction with U13007 Valley Close.
Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.
Alternative route: C2129 Hoarstone Lane, C2129 Trimpley Lane, B4190 Habberley Road, C2129 Habberley Lane, C2129 Habberley Road (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days.

Reason: Carriageway works for surface dressing over multiple phases by WCC.

(C2194 Lye Head Road, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2194 Lye Head Road from its junction with A456 Callow Hill to its junction with U10006 Cross Bank.
Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.
Alternative route: A456 Callow Hill, C2021 Bliss Gate Road, C2021 Heightington Road, C2194 Deasland Lane, C2194 Lye Head Road (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 17 March 2025.
EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS, AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
(Wyre Forest District – Stourport area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2025 (Prohibition of Waiting on Lickhill Road and Private Access Road, Stourport)
On 6 February 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Stourport:
- Lickhill Road (Northeast side) from the centre point of its junction with the private access road for a distance of 15.5 metres in a north westerly direction.
- (Southwest side) from its junction with the private access road for a distance of 14.1 metres in a north westerly direction.
- Private access road (Both sides) from its junction with Lickhill Road for a distance of 12.8 metres in a southerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for the enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and will contain exemptions to permit waiting for certain necessary purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles).
The Order will come into operation on 27 February 2025.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be examined at the Wyre Forest Public Library and on the Worcestershire County Council Website or inspected at Kidderminster Library, Market Street, Kidderminster DY10 1AD and Wildwood, Wildwood Drive, Worcester WR5 2QT during office hours.
Any question regarding the Council’s powers in making the Order or its validity may be made to the High Court within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made.
