What is happening?

THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL

(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING

PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (VARIOUS ROADS,

OSWESTRY) (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2025
On 18 February 2025 Shropshire Council made an order to make the
following changes to parking restrictions on various roads in Oswestry:

No Waiting At Any Time

Upper Brook Street
(north-west side)

From its junction with Lutton Close for a distance of 56m in a south-westerly direction.
From a point 82m from its junction with Lutton Close in a south-westerly direction to a point 116m from its junction with Lutton Close.
From a point 140m from its junction with Lutton Close in a south-westerly direction to a point 156m from its junction with Lutton Close.
From a point 180m from its junction with Lutton Close in a south-westerly direction to its junction
with Broomhall Lane.

Upper Brook Street
(south-east side)
From its junction with Lutton Close in a southwesterly direction to its junction with Trefonen Road.

Broomhall Lane
(Both sides)
From its junction with Upper Brook Street for a distance 46m in a westerly direction.

Trefonen Road (both sides)
From its junction with Upper Brook Street for a distance of 45 metres in a south-westerly direction.
Any existing restrictions at the above locations will be revoked.

These changes will come into effect on 21 February 2025.
A copy of the order may be examined during normal office hours (8:45am5:00pm Monday to Thursday, and 8:45am-4:00pm on Fridays) at Shropshire Council, Guildhall, Frankwell, Shrewsbury.
If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or any provisions in it, on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the
Order, you may, within six weeks from 18 February 2025, apply for that purpose to the High Court.
