(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in the County of Northumberland.
A192 Hartford Bank from its junction with Shields Road heading in a southerly direction for a length of 204 metres.
A192 Plessey Checks to Hartford Bridge from its point with Hartford Bank continuing on in a southerly direction for a length of 922 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 3rd March 2025 until the 3rd October 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 24th March 2025 until the 29th March 2025 between the hours of 20:00 until 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 3rd October 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being A192, A1068, A193, B1505 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out resurfacing and remedial works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
