What is happening?
Temporary Closure of A3052, Lyme Regis
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along A3052, LYME REGIS between its junction with Long Entry and Lyme Regis Museum, a distance of approximately 20 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 24 February 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 04 April 2025.
This Order will enable East Devon Scaffolding, safe access to erect scaffolding to aid repair works to two properties.
An alternative route will be signed using: A3052 - A358 - A35

Any person who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of the Notice will be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £1000.
Temporary Closure of Moorbath Road, Broad Oak
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along MOORBATH ROAD, BROAD OAK between a point approximately 280 metres north of Broad Oak Farm and a point approximately 435 metres north of Broad Oak Farm, a distance of approximately 155 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 03 March 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 14 March 2025
This Order will enable Wessex Water, safe access to repair leaking sluice valve.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; Duck Street - B3162 - Atrim Road

Temporary One Way Closure of B3157 (Southbound Only), Bridport
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding southbound along B3157, BRIDPORT between the Crown roundabout and the Crown Inn car park, a distance of approximately 85 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 03 March 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 14 March 2025
This Order will enable Wessex Water, safe access to repair leaking sluice valve.

Temporary Closure of C37, Corscombe
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along C37, CORSCOMBE between Stable Cottage and Old Mill House, a distance of approximately 55 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 03 March 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 03 August 2025. From 31 March 2025 until 11 April 2025 the closure will be between Stable Cottage and Corscombe Court Cottage, a distance of approximately 800 metres to allow Hardy Tree Surgeons Limited to work in collaboration with Crestmoor Construction.
This Order will enable Crestmoor Construction, safe access to carry out urgent structural retaining wall replacement works.
