What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

HAYWOOD LANE, BADDESLEY CLINTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between farmland entrance and junction with Rowington Green/Quarry Lane.
Reason for Order: To enable works for installation of a new water main.
Order Commences: 26 February 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 20 March 2025.
Access & Diversion: Rowington Green, Old Warwick Road, Packwood Lane, Rising Lane, Haywood Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: G & V Gallagher, Tel: 01604 946 333.

VALLEY LANE, LAPWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from a point opposite Valley Cottage.
Reason for Order: To enable works for a new water connection.
Order Commences: 27 February 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 1 March 2025.
Access & Diversion: There is no available diversion.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

CHESSETTS WOOD ROAD, LAPWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works for boundary box installation.
Order Commences: 10 March 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 11 March 2025.
Access & Diversion: Chessetts Wood Road, Packwood Road, Vicarage Road, Packwood Lane, Rising Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

PUBLIC FOOTPATH SD263 IN THE PARISH OF TANWORTH IN ARDEN
Order Effect: Footpath Closed to all traffic between SP11435-70804 and SP12240-71016.
Reason for Order: Because works are being carried out on or near to the footpath.
Order Commences: 10 March 2025 for up to 6 months.
Access & Diversion: Follow SD253 from The Butts in Tanworth as far as Leasowes, then either continue along SD253 or go through the farm and then join SD263 to the east of the drive and continue along it to Umberslade Road.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
