THE M6 MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 7) (SLIP ROADS)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 9346363) has made an Order on the M6 Motorway, in the Metropolitan Borough of Sandwell, to allow bridge inspections to take place.
The effect of the Order will be to close –
(a) the entry slip road leading to the northbound carriageway of the M6 at Junction 7; and
(b) the exit slip road leading from the southbound carriageway of the M6 at Junction 7.
The work will be carried out over night between 21:00 hours and 06:00 hours and is expected to start on Monday 24 February 2025 and continue for one night. The Order will come into force on 21 February 2025.
Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes and vehicles being used in connection with the works or for winter maintenance purposes will be exempt from the closures.
