Mornington Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
MORNINGTON ROAD, HOLMEWOOD
WHEN: 12 March 2025 (19:00 to 23:00).
WHERE: Mornington Road, Holmewood at a point adjacent property No. 45.
REASON: To facilitate manhole cover and frame renewal works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Mornington Road (from point of closure), A6175 Heath Road, Springfield Road, Central Street, Mornington Road (to point of closure) and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
