ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
U3056 BRACKEN COTTAGE JUNCTION
TO BROOMEWOOD JUNCTION ALNWICK
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the Junction to Broomewood Junction Alnwick 34 metres either side of its entrance to Edlingham Alnwick District Footpath 005 in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 14th March 2025 until the 21st March 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 14th March 2025 between the hours of 09:30 until 15:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 21st March 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being U3056, C90, B6341 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Hatton TM on behalf of National Highways to carry out a safety inspection of a redundant rail bridge. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
