U6017 Causey Park Junction to Moor Edge via Causey Park - Temporary Road Closure

U6017 CAUSEY PARK JUNCTION
TO MOOR EDGE VIA CAUSEY PARK, CAUSEY PARK
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6017 Causey Park Junction to Moor Edge via Causey Park from its junction with Tritlington Castle Morpeth Footpath 013 heading eastwards for a distance of 675 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 25th February 2025 until the 14th March 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 25th February 2025 until the 7th March 2025 between the hours of 08:30 and 15:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 14th March 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the A1, C139, A697, U6017 and vice-versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Dutton Traffic Management to carry out overhead pole maintenance. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
