Church Way - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
CHURCH WAY, CHESTERFIELD
WHEN: 10 March to 30 March 2025.
WHERE: Church Way, Chesterfield between its jct. with the B6543 St Mary's Gate to its jct. with Burlington Street.
REASON: To facilitate gas main renewal works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Burlington Street, Stephenson Place, B6543 Holywell Street / St Marys Gate and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
