Bury Hill - Temporary Road Closure

What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
BURY HILL, ALDERWASLEY

WHEN: 21 February 2025 (09:30 to 15:30)
WHERE: Bury Hill, Alderwasley between its Jct. with Pendleton Lane and its Jct. with Higg Lane.
REASON: To facilitate BT pole testing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Bury Hill, Shaws Hill, Unnamed Road between junction immediately before Wigwell Farm Cottage and DDC district boundary, Unnamed section of Road from B5035 Wirksworth Moor to Derbyshire Dales District Boundary, Belper Road, Higg Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
