(WATER END ROAD, MAULDEN)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from
the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Water End Road, Maulden next to number 86.
This temporary closure is required to enable fire hydrant installation works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 10 to 14 March 2025. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Clophill Road, C100, A507, New Road, Water End and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 10 March 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(STATION ROAD, BROGBOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Station Road, Brogborough opposite the sewage pumping station.
This temporary closure is required to enable access for tankers to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
The works have already begun under and emergency closure.
The Order will come into operation on 11 February 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL PROPOSES TO INTRODUCE
VARIOUS WAITING RESTRICTIONS ON CHURCH AVENUE, AMPTHILL
Reason for proposal: Please note, this scheme originally came out as part of a previous proposal (Ref No A00499) however, due to an error in the scope of the consultation we are now treating the proposal on Church Avenue as a separate scheme so have re-issued it and started the consultation again under new reference TRO-017.
Effect of the Order:
To introduce 2 hour Limited Waiting from Monday to Friday between 10am and 12noon on the following length of road in Ampthill:-
1. Church Avenue, west side, from a point in line with the north-eastern corner of the property boundary of No.1 Church Avenue (Where the existing waiting restrictions are of No Waiting 7am-7pm), extending in a south-easterly direction for approximately 120 metres.
2. Church Avenue, east side, from a point in line with the north-western corner of the property boundary of No.2 Church Avenue (Where the existing waiting restrictions are of No Waiting 7am-7pm), extending in a south-easterly direction for approximately 118 metres.

(HAYNES: BRIDLEWAY NO. 17)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Central Bedfordshire Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any person proceeding on foot or on horseback or lead a horse or cycle along the length of public Bridleway No. 17, Haynes which extends from Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) TL 1018 4124 for 295 metres to OSGR TL 1014 4153.
This temporary closure is required in order to make safe the brick culvert on which part of the bridleway runs. The closure is expected to take place from 24th February to 23rd August 2025.
The alternative route for bridleway users while the closure is in operation, is as follows;
From OS GR TL 1018 4124 take the road in a west, north westerly direction for 497 metres to OS GR TL 0972 4137, then turn right and proceed for 53 metres to OS GR TL 0973 4142 from here turn right and proceed along BW7 in a generally east, north easterly direction for 430 metres, to reach OS GR TL 1014 4153.

The Order will come into operation on 24th February 2025 for a period not exceeding six months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out on or near to the bridleway have been completed, whichever is the earlier. If the works are not completed within six months the Order may be extended for a longer period with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport.

(HARLINGTON: FOOTPATH NO. 2 AND WESTONING: PART OF FOOTPATH NO. 15)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Central Bedfordshire Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any person proceeding on foot along the length of part of public footpath No.15, Westoning which extends from Ordnance Survey Grid Reference TL 0258 3111 to Ordnance Survey Grid Reference TL 0264 3109 and public footpath No. 2, Harlington which extends from Ordnance Survey Grid Reference TL 0262 3109 to Ordnance Survey Grid Reference TL 0331 3057. This temporary closure is required due to site construction works taking place.The closure is expected to take place from 20th February to 19th August 2025.
There is no alternative route along public rights of way for footpath users while the closure is in operation, however the developer may provide and sign an alternative route within their land.
