Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

The City of Peterborough Strategic Pipeline Temporary 50/30mph Speed Restriction Order 2022 Ref: 23-082A

The effect of which is to impose a 50mph and 30mph speed limit on the roads known in the schedule below.

The Order came into operation on 29/09/2022 and will continue until the Strategic Pipeline works have been completed or until 01/09/2026, whichever is the earlier. This order has been extended to 01/09/2026 by DfT reference: TTRO12321. The speed limits will be present to facilitate the Strategic Pipeline works and may not be present throughout the entire duration of the order. Changes in speed limits will be signed on site. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 – North Street Ref: 25-239

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as North Street, as lies between junction with Lincoln Road and a point approximately 30m eastwards. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Lincoln Road, Westgate, North Street and vice versa. The following restrictions will be suspended to facilitate these works. Vehicles Turn Right except buses and Cycles sign at the junction of Westgate and Lincoln Road, No Entry except buses sign at the junction of Westgate and Lincoln Road, No Entry signs at the junction of Westgate and North Street, and the One Way system on North Street. The proposed order will come into force on the 23/02/2025 and will continue until the service provision works have been completed or until the 22/02/2026, whichever is the earlier. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 – Woodcroft Road, Etton Ref: 25-240

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Woodcroft Road, Etton as lies between points 20 metres either side of Woodcroft Road Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: via Woodcroft Rd, Helpston Rd, Glinton Rd, West St, King St, Stamford Rd, and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into force on the 24/02/2025 and will continue until the railway level crossing maintenance works have been completed or until the 23/02/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight between 24/02/2025 and 25/02/2025. BR2

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 – Crowland Road, Eye Green Ref: 25-250

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Crowland Road, Eye Green, as lies between Verde Close and 85m south. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: B1443, B1040, A47 and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 24/02/2025 and will continue until the new electrical connection works have been completed or until the 23/02/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 24/02/2025 and the 28/02/2025. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 – Blackmead Ref: 25-241

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Blackmead, as lies between numbers 51 to 75 and 76 to 91 Blackmead. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Blackmead, Orton Busway, Blackmead and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 24/02/2025 and will continue until the gas main replacement works have been completed or until the 23/02/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 24/02/2025 and the 28/03/2025. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 – Willesden Avenue Ref: 25-242

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Willesden Avenue, as lies between 98 and 102 Willesden Avenue. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Churchfield Road, Montague Road, Fane Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 25/02/2025 and will continue until the defective reinstatement repair works have been completed or until the 24/02/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 25/02/2025 and the 27/02/2025. The City of Peterborough A47 Leicester Road & Old Leicester Road, Wansford Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991(Temporary Restriction of Through Traffic) Notice 2025   Ref: 25-273

Council of the City of Peterborough gives notice pursuant to section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, the effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the roads known as A47 Leicester Road & Old Leicester Road, Wansford,as lies between Wansford Interchange and A47 Northamptonshire Boundary. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this Notice. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above roads. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: A43, A1 Northbound, A6121, A1 Southbound and vice versa. This notice is made in the interest of resurfacing and reconstruction works and will remain effective for no more than 5 days from the 24/02/2025. It is anticipated that these works will take place overnight between 20:00hrs and 06:00hrs from the 24/02/2025 to the 01/03/2025. The Notice shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which it is made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or any person acting with permission or upon the direction of a police Officer in uniform. The proposed order will come into force on the 03/03/2025 and will continue until the cut and patch works have been completed or until the 02/03/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 03/03/2025 and 18/03/2025. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 – Burghley Road  Ref: 25-274

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Burghley Road, as lies between Lincoln Road and Park Road, eastbound only. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Lincoln Road, Dogsthorpe Road and Park Road. The proposed order will come into force on the 02/03/2025 and will continue until the deforrmation works have been completed or until the 01/03/2026, whichever is the earlier. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 – Maxey Road, Helpston  Ref: 25-271

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Maxey Road, Helpston as lies between points 20 metres either side of Maxey Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: via B1443 Glinton Rd, Helpston Rd, A15, Maxey Rd, High St and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into force on the 04/03/2025 and will continue until the railway level crossing maintenance works have been completed or until the 03/03/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place on 04/03/2025 between 00:30 - 06:00. BR1

The City of Peterborough Various Roads – Burghley 7 Road Race 2025 –  Sunday 2nd March 2025, Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025. Ref: 25-280

Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough intends in not less than seven days to make an Order pursuant to section 16A(a) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, the effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the roads as outlined in the schedule below:

Vehicular access on to the course shall be prohibited at all the side roads joining the route whilst the route remains closed. The alternative routes for vehicles affected by this order are via (1) Uffington Rd, Barnack Rd, A1175 Main Rd. (2) via Wittering Ford Rd, Heath Rd, Wittering Rd, Stamford Rd. The proposed Order will come into force on Sunday 2nd March 2025 only from 07:30am to 11.30am and is at the request of DSTM Ltd for the purposes of the Burghley 7 Road Race 2025. The Council is satisfied that the length of road that is the subject of this Order is liable to be obstructed during the Burghley 7 Road Race 2025 Event between the above times only.
