What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
UNNAMED A38 ON / OFF SLIP ROAD,
SOUTH NORMANTON
WHEN: 11 March 2025 (09:30 to 15:30)
WHERE: Unnamed A38 On / Off Slip Road, South Normanton between its Jct. with the A38 to its Jct. with Birchwood Lane.
REASON: To facilitate light column renewal works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Birchwood Lane, B6019, M1 J28 Interchange, A38 and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
