NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Piccotts End, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Dodds Lane south eastwards to its junction with Riverbank, a distance of approximately 114m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Piccotts End Road, B440 Leighton Buzzard Road, A4147 Link Road and Piccotts End Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 6 March 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. An alternative route will be via Adeyfield Road, Longlands and Broadfield Road.

An alternative route will be via Vicarage Lane, A4251
(Hempstead Road/London Road), B4505 (Box Lane/ Hempstead Road), High Street, Chipperfield Road, Tower Hill, Chapel Croft and Langley Road. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the south, west and north sides of Gravel Lane. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Footpath. 1. that length of Peartree Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Boxted Road north eastwards to its junction with Peartree Close, a distance of approximately 115m. An alternative route will be via Boxted Road, Warners End Road, Spring Lane and Peartree Road.
2. that length of Grassy Close, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Peartree Road northwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Red Lion Lane, Great Gaddesden from a point in line with the northern boundary of No.7 ‘Bridens Camp’ north eastwards for a distance of approximately 205m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Red Lion Lane, B440 (Leighton Buzzard Road/Dagnall Road), Pedley Hill, Clements End Road, South Dene, Gaddesden Row and Red Lion Lane. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”):1. that length of Bullbeggars Lane, Potten End from its junction with Little Heath Lane north westwards to its junction with The Common, a distance of approximately 761m.
An alternative route will be via Little Heath Lane, Hempstead Lane and The Common.
2. that length of Little Heath Lane, Little Heath from its junction with Bullbeggars Lane south eastwards for a distance of approximately 126m.
An alternative route will be via Bullbeggars Lane, The Common, Hempstead Lane and Little Heath Lane. The Order is needed because tree felling and vegetation works are proposed to be executed near the Roads. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1.that length of Hill Common, Hemel Hempstead from its northernmost junction with Barnacres Road south eastwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 124m. An alternative route will be via Barnacres Road and Hill Common.
2.the access road leading to ‘Chambersbury Primary
School’, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Hill Common north eastwards for a distance of approximately 29m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
3.that length of Leaside, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Green Lane south eastwards and north eastwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
4.that length of Green Lane, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with A4147 Leverstock Green Road north eastwards to its junction with Hartsbourne Way, a distance of approximately 124m.
An alternative route will be via A4147 Leverstock Green Road, A414 Breakspear Way and Green Lane.
5.that length of Hillfield Road, Hemel Hempstead from its westernmost junction with Scriveners Close north eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. 6. the access road leading to ‘Hemel Hempstead Market’, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Waterhouse Street north eastwards, northwards and southwards for its entire length
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
7. that length of Waterhouse Street, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Combe Street south eastwards to its junction with Market Square, a distance of approximately 75m.
An alternative route will be via Combe Street, A4146 Leighton Buzzard Road, Moor End Road and Waterhouse Street.
8. that length of Athelstan Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Belmont Road south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Hobbs Hill Road, a distance of approximately 147m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
9. that length of Belmont Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Glebe Close north eastwards for a distance of approximately 401m.
An alternative route will be via Belmont Road, Belswains Lane, St Albans Hill, Leys Road, Stonelea Road and Belmont Road.
10. that length of Hobbs Hill Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Lower Barn north eastwards for a distance of approximately 401m.
An alternative route will be via Hobbs Hill Road, Belswains Lane, St Albans Hill, Leys Road, Stonelea Road and Hobbs Hill Road.
11. that length of Kings Lane, Chipperfield from its junction with The Street north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Chapel Croft, a distance of approximately 449m. An alternative route will be via The Street and Chapel Croft. 12. that length of Wensleydale, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Wharfdale south eastwards to its junction with Cambrian Way, a distance of approximately 189m. An alternative route will be via Wharfedale, Westerdale and Cambrian Way.
13. that length of Newford Close, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Wood End Lane south eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
14. that length of Wood End Lane, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Masons Road north eastwards to its junction with The Coppice, a distance of approximately 154m. An alternative route will be via Wood End Lane, High Street Green, A4147 (Swallowdale Lane/Maylands Avenue) and Wood End Lane.
15. that length of Bourne End Lane, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with A4251 London Road south westwards, south eastwards and south westwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
16. that length of B4506 New Road, Northchurch from its junction with South Bank Road north eastwards, north westwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 1247m.
An alternative route will be via A4251 (High Street/Tring
Road), B4635 London Road, B486 (Brook Street/New Mill
Terrace/Wingrave Road), B488 (Bulbourne Road/Upper Icknield Way), B489 Tring Road, B440 Main North Road and B4506 (Ringshall Road/New Road).
17. that length of Station Footpath, Kings Langley from its junction with Home Park Mill Link north westwards and south westwards for its entire length. An alternative route will be via A4251 Watford Road, Church Lane, Water Lane, Station Road and Home Park Mill Link. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 24 February 2025 for a period of up to 18 months.
