(Rustington: Mariners Walk Amendment) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has recently made a permanent Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to enact a
recently installed restriction prohibiting waiting at any time on the eastern side of Mariners Walk in Rustington at the entrance to the garage compound at the southern end of the road.
A similar restriction proposed at the bend joining Mariners Walk with Broad Strand has been removed from the proposal following objections during the public consultation.
A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 24 February 2025, together with plans showing the affected lengths of road may be viewed on the WSCC website. People without access to a computer who wish to view details of the scheme should telephone the WSCC Contact Centre on 01243 642105 to receive the documents by post.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of this Order, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks from 20 February 2025, apply to the High Court for this purpose. (Ferring: Greystoke Road and Adjoining Roads Amendment) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has recently made a
permanent Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic
regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to enact the
recently installed double yellow lines on the western side of Greystoke Road in Ferring at the entrance to The Glebelands
Community Centre and the entrance to Ferring Baptist Church. It also enacts the recently installed double yellow lines on the eastern side of Greystoke Road/Ferringham Lane at its junction with Church Lane.
A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 24 February 2025, together with plans showing the affected lengths of road may be viewed on the WSCC website. (Worthing: Durrington Hill) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Durrington Hill in Worthing throughout its entire length.
The road closure is needed to allow gas mains to be replaced in safety.
The Order will come into effect on 26 February 2025 and remain in force until 30 April 2025. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order the road will be closed in short sections as works progress along its length. Alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site and access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.
