(THTTC3626 Redfield Road, Midsomer Norton) (Temporary Prohibition Of Use By Vehicles) Order 2025

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Redfield Road, Midsomer Norton from its junction with Redfield Grove extending south to a point outside the property known as Riverside Bungalow. USRN: 47917437.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Bristol Water to install a new fire hydrant on the 17th February 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for THREE DAYS.

(THTTC3705 Bath Road, Paulton) (Temporary Prohibition Of Use By Vehicles) Order 2025

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Bath Road, Paulton from its junction with Brookside extending north east to its junction with Brittens Hill. USRN: 47916571.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out Gas main upgrade works on the 15th February 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for NINE DAYS.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce:

• A road closure in that length of The Street, Radstock from its junction with Fortesque Road extending south east to its junction with Frome Road/Nelson Ward Drive. USRN: 47917848.

• A temporary suspension of the 7.5 tonne weight restriction in that length of The Street, Radstock from its junction with Fortesque Road extending south east to its junction with Frome Road/Nelson Ward Drive.

• A road closure in that length of Frome Road, Radstock from its junction with Sheepwash Lane extending south east to its junction with The Street/Nelson Ward Drive. USRN: 47916842.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Bath & North East Somerset Council to implement a new zebra crossing on Frome Road and associated works from the 17th February 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.

The Street – Works are anticipated to take place between 17th - 23rd February 2025 for up to SEVEN DAYS.

Frome Road – Works are anticipated to take place between 24th February - 7th March 2025 for up to TWELVE DAYS.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close temporarily to cyclists, horse riders and motor vehicles and suspend all parking to vehicles, in the lengths of roads listed in Schedule 1.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Bath & North East Somerset Council to carry out resurfacing and associated works from the 1st March 2025, for a maximum period of 18 Months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and will not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. 

The anticipated timescale for each closure is listed in Schedule 1 below.
