What is happening?

Temporary Orders 
The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) 

The County of Cornwall (Rosehill, Marazion) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 10th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Marazion. 

This prohibition is necessary for new fibre infrastructure works and it is expected that the closure will be from 25th February 2025 to 27th February 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Road affected - Rosehill, Marazion between properties known as Highview and Sundaram.

Cornwall Council 
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 27th June 2024 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Roslyn Close St Austell from junction at Roslyn Close leading to Morcom Close. 

The Order which commenced on the 28th June 2024 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 28th March 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. 

The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary for safety due to subsidence to carriageway and footway. 

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

The County of Cornwall (The Saltings, Lelant) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 10th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Lelant.

This prohibition is necessary for installation works of sewer level equipment in the manhole and it is expected that the closure will be from 25th February 2025, for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Road affected -The Saltings, Lelant between the junction of St Uny Claose and property known asMeadowlands.

The County of Cornwall (Trevalgan Road, Halsetown Road, and Higher Stennack, St Ives) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 10th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in St Ives. 

This prohibition is necessary for surfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th February 2025 to 8th March 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included. 

Roads affected - Trevalgan Road between the junctions of Hellesveor and Halsetown Road, Halsetown Road between the junctions of Trevalgan Road and Towednack Road, and Higher Stennack between the junction of Trevalgan Road and grid reference SW50454 39849, St Ives.

The County of Cornwall (Road Between St Buryan And Trevorgans Cross Near Crows An Wra, St Buryan) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 10th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Buryan.

This prohibition is necessary for overlay works and it is expected that the closure will be from 25th February 2025 to 27th February 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Road affected - Road Between St Buryan And Trevorgans Cross Near Crows An Wra, St Buryan from junction with A30 Between Trevorgans Cross And Catchall to property known as Pol Pedn Nanna.
