AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
CHIPSTEAD VALLEY ROAD, COULSDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING
Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to a fire hydrant by SES Water, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements and parking in Chipstead Valley Road.
Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Chipstead Valley Road will be closed south-west bound (towards Woodcote Grove Road) between the common boundaries of Nos. 27 and 29 and Nos. 49 and 51 Chipstead Valley Road.
b) Chipstead Valley Road will be closed either side of the road island at the junction of Chipstead Valley Road and Woodcote Grove Road for the length of the road island.
c) The payment parking bay outside No. 48b Chipstead Valley Road will be suspended.
During the closure, the diversion route for vehicles will be via Chipstead Valley Road, Brighton Road, Lion Green Road, and Chipstead Valley Road, as appropriately signposted.
The Order will come into operation on 17 February 2024, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ECCLESBOURNE ROAD, THORNTON HEATH
NOTICE OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas supply disconnection works by SGN, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Ecclesbourne Road.
Whilst the said works are taking place Ecclesbourne Road will be closed to vehicular traffic between the common boundaries of Nos. 135 and 137 and Nos. 143 and 145 Ecclesbourne Road.
During the closure, the diversion routes for vehicular traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed.
Via Berne Road, Lucerne Road and Bensham Lane.
Via Bensham Lane, Brigstock Road, and Boswell Road.
Via Bert Road, Kynaston Road, Boswell Road, and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 20 February 2025, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 24 February 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water valve works by Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking on Estcourt Road and Southcote Road, South Norwood.
Whilst the said works are taking place:
(a) Southcote Road will be closed.

ESTCOURT ROAD & SOUTHCOTE ROAD, SOUTH NORWOOD
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING
Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water valve works by Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking on Estcourt Road and Southcote Road, South Norwood.
Whilst the said works are taking place:
(a) Southcote Road will be closed.
(b) Parking will be suspended, and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time in the following locations:
(i) Both sides of the road outside and opposite Nos. 80 to 88 Estcourt Road.
(ii) Both sides of the road outside and opposite the flank wall of No. 83 Estcourt Road, in Southcote Road.
Whilst the works are taking place, the alternative routes for traffic will be via Grasmere Road, Tudor Road, and Estcourt Road, or via Estcourt Road, Cumberland Road, and Grasmere Road, as appropriately signed.
The Order will come into operation on 17 February 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within approximately four days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

HOWDEN ROAD, SOUTH NORWOOD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING
Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate water valve installation works on behalf of Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements and parking in Howden Road.
Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Howden Road will be closed at its junction with South Norwood Hill.
b) One-way working in Howden Road will be suspended to allow two-way traffic.
c) The disabled bay on the north-west side of Howden Road near the junction with South Norwood Hill will be suspended.
Whilst the closure is in place, the alternative route for traffic will be via Howden Road, Auckland Road, Woodvale Avenue and vice versa, as appropriately signed.
The Order will come into operation on 17 February 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed within four days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

JARVIS ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING & PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC
Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water service pipe works by Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict pedestrian traffic and parking in Jarvis Road.
Whilst the said work is taking place:
a) Parking will be suspended and temporary waiting and loading restrictions will apply “at any time” on both sides of Jarvis Road outside Nos. 10 to 18.
b) The footway outside Nos. 10 to 18 Jarvis Road will be closed.
During the footway closure, pedestrians will be diverted to the opposite side of the road.
The Order will come into operation on 17 February 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed in four days. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months to be reintroduced if further work is required.
These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle or person involved in carrying out the said work.
(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

QUEENSWAY, CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate electrical connection works on behalf of UKPN, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Queensway.
Whilst the said works are taking place, Queensway will be closed between the vehicular entrance to Nos. 1-1a Queensway and the roundabout adjacent to the vehicular entrance to No. 2 Queensway.
During the closure, the diversion route for traffic will be via Queens Road, Princes Way, Stafford Road/B271, Purley Way/A23, and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 20 February 2025, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 05 March 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle involved in the said work.
(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer.

SOUTH END, CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a bus shelter replacement, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in South End, Croydon.
Whilst the said works are taking place:
(a) South End will be closed to vehicular traffic outside Cavendish House, Nos. 51-55 South End.
(b) The footway outside Cavendish House will be closed to pedestrians.
Whilst the works are taking place, the alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Lower Coombe Street and the A236. Pedestrians will be diverted into a walkway in the carriageway.
The Order will come into operation on 17 February 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) Any vehicle or person involved in carrying out the said work.
(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
