PUBLIC NOTICE

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL

(LICHFIELD STREET TAXI BAYS)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, suspending use of Lichfield Street taxi bays outside properties 2-20. Whilst the Order is in effect the taxi bay will be relocated within the loading bay opposite. The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 26 February 2025 until 7 March 2025.
The Order is required to facilitate the replacement of a complex manhole roof by BT.
