What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICE

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(MOUNT ROAD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Mount Road in both
directions at its junction with Mill Lane/Wightwick Bank.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 17 February 2025 until 19 February 2025.
The diversion route is: School Road and Mill Lane and vice
versa.
The Order is required to facilitate cabling works for BT.
