Cleveland Street - Temporary Road Traffic Restrictions
What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(CLEVELAND STREET) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Cleveland Street
from its junction with Bell Street to its junction with Snow
Hill.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 19:00 on 18 February 2025 until 06:00 on
19 February 2025.
The diversion route is: Summer Row, Temple Street,
Worcester Street, Ring Road and Snow Hill.
The Order is required to facilitate maintenance to telecoms
equipment on the Wulfrun Centre roof by T-Mobile/EE.
