What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

A446 LICHFIELD ROAD/A446 STONEBRIDGE ROAD, COLESHILL
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows: 

A446 Lichfield Road (Southbound Carriageway) closed between B4117 Gilson Road/Lichfield Road Roundabout and B4114 Birmingham Road Roundabout, A446 Stonebridge Road (Southbound Carriageway) closed between the B4114 Birmingham Road Roundabout and the B4117 Coventry Road.

Please note: All roundabouts will remain open.

Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, overnight 20.00hrs-06.00hrs.

Order Commences: 21 February 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 22 February 2025.

Access & Diversion: A446, Dunton Island, A4097, A38, A452, Coleshill Heath Road and back onto the A446.

Contractor: Balfour Beatty Tel: 03452 415 302.


Dog Lane, Nether Whitacre
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works to replace poles.

Order Commences: 17 February 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 19 February 2025.

Access & Diversion: Botts Green Lane, Ashes Lane, Daw Duke Lane, Tamworth Road, Gate Lane and vice versa.

Potters Lane, Polesworth
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To safely enable works for small air valve installation.

Order Commences: 17 February 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 19 February 2025.

Access & Diversion: Potters Lane, Common Lane, Goodere Avenue, Chaytor Road and vice versa.

Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

DAW MILL LANE, ARLEY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To safely enable overhead cabling works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.

Order Commences: 6 March 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 6 March 2025.

Access & Diversion: Daw Mill Lane, Tamworth Road, Nuneaton Road, Coleshill Road, Shawbury Lane and vice versa.

Contractor: Sunbelt Rentals Ltd, Tel: 03700 500 792.


Grove Lane, Wishaw
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works to provide fibre overhead cabling, closed 09.30hrs-15.30hrs. 

Order Commences: 5 March 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 5 March 2025.

Access & Diversion: Grove Lane, Church Lane, Ryefield Lane, Lichfield Road, Holly Lane, Lindridge Road, Springfield Road, Ox Leys Road and vice versa.

Contractor: Sunbelt Rentals Ltd, Tel: 03700 500 792.


Orton Road, Polesworth

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To safely enable works for short comm pipe repair. 

Order Commences: 3 March 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 5 March 2025.

Access & Diversion: Orton Road, Warton Lane, The Green, Norton Lane, Austrey Lane, Orton Lane, Main Road, Bishops Cleeve, Austrey Road, Maypole Road, Little Warton Road and vice versa.

Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
