(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS
IN RECTORY LANE AND HARRIS LANE, SHENLEY) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Rectory Lane, Shenley from its junction with Pound Lane Rectory Lane north eastwards for a distance of approximately 346m.
An alternative route will be via Rectory Lane, B5378 (Black Lion Hill/ Shenleybury), B556 (Bell Lane/Ridge Hill/St Albans Road), Blanche Lane, Greyhound Lane, New Road, Earls Lane, Mimms Lane and Harris Lane or via Harris Lane, Mimms Lane, Earls Lane, Blanche Lane, B556 (St Albans Road/Ridge Hill/ Bell Lane) B5378 (Shenleybury/Black Lion Hill) and Rectory Lane.
2. that length of Harris Lane, Shenley from its northernmost junction with Mimms Lane north eastwards to its junction with Rectory Lane, a distance of approximately 32m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 March 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Broadwater Crescent, Stevenage from its junction with the A602 Broadhall Way roundabout south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Oaks Cross, a distance of approximately 1753m.
An alternative route will be via A602 Broadhall Way and Broadwater Crescent.
2. that length of Park Street, Baldock from its junction with Saddlers Close north westwards and south westwards to its junction with Weston Way, a distance of approximately 187m.
An alternative route will be via Park Street, Mansfield Road and Weston Way.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 March 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

IN COREYS MILL LANE, STEVENAGE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Coreys Mill Lane, Stevenage from its junction with the A602 Hitchin Road roundabout north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with the B197 North Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 450m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via A602 Hitchin Road, Graveley Road, B197 North Road.
ADDITIONALLY, all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 March 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Tilehouse Street, Hitchin from its junction with Bridge Street north westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
2. that length of Wratten Road East, Hitchin from its junction with Tilehouse Street south westwards to its junction with Old Charlton Road, a distance of approximately 66m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
3. that length of Desborough Road, Hitchin from its junction with William Road south eastwards, south westwards and north eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
4. that length of West Close, Hitchin from its junction with Highover Way north westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF RAFFIN GREEN LANE, DATCHWORTH ORDER 2025)
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Raffin Green Lane, Datchworth from a point 165m south west of its junction with A602 Hooks Cross south westwards for a distance of approximately 50m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Raffin Green Lane, A602 (Hooks Cross/ Broadhall Way), Bragbury Lane, Bury Lane and Raffin Green Lane.
The Order is needed because bridge inspection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 18 February 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ASHWELL COMMON, GRAVELEY) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Ashwell Common, Graveley from its junction with Oak Lane south westwards for a distance of approximately 54m ("the Road"), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because sewer connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 February 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BENNINGTON ROAD, ASTON)
ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bennington Road, Aston from its junction with Aston Public Footpath No.031 north eastwards for a distance of approximately 50m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Benington Road, Broadwater Lane, Gresley Way, A602 (Broadhall Way/Hooks Cross), High Street, Walkern Road, and Benington Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 February 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN GRAVELEY) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following length of road, except for access, and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of Road whilst works are in progress:
a) That length of Graveley Lane, Graveley from its junction with B197 Jacks Hill north westwards and south westwards to its junction with Graveley Road, a distance of approximately 1434m, except for access.
An alternative route will be via B197 Jacks Hill, A505 (Baldock Bypass/Letchworth Gate), Baldock Lane, Willian Road, Wymondley Road, Willian Road, and Baldock Road.
b) To prohibit all vehicular traffic from being driven at a speed exceeding 30mph on that length of B197 Jacks Hill/High Street, Graveley from its junction with a point 111m south west of its junction with Letchworth Garden City Public Bridleway No.002 south westwards to its junction with Graveley Public Footpath No.002, a distance of approximately 830m, when signs are in place.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 20 February 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. That length of Hitchin Road, Gosmore from its junction with Brick Kiln Lane south eastwards to its junction with Gosmore Ley Close, a distance of approximately 790m.
An alternative route will be via Gosmore Road, B656 London Road, Waterdell Lane, High Street, and Hitchin Road.
2. That length of High Street, Gosmore from its junction with Hitchin Road south westwards to its junction with Waterdell Lane, a distance of approximately 138m.
An alternative route will be via Hitchin Road, Gosmore Road, B656 London Road, and Waterdell Lane.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Lancaster Avenue, Hitchin from its junction with Bearton Avenue north westwards for a distance of approximately 12m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Bearton Avenue, A505 Fishponds Road, A600 Bedford Road, and Lancaster Avenue.
The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 February 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
