Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order – Clayton 2025 Ref: 25-238
The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycle path known as Clayton, as lies between 88-90, 67-70 and 61-64 Clayton. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycle path. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this Order is: Orton Busway, Clayton, The Ortons Cyclepath and vice versa.The Order will come into operation on the 17/02/2025 and will continue until the gas main replacement works have been completed or until the 18/08/2025, whichever is the earlier. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order – Orton Busway to Malborne Way cyclepath 2025 Ref: 25-247
The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycle path known as Orton Busway to Malborne Way cyclepath, as lies between 44 and 47 Blackmead.
The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycle path. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this Order is: Orton Busway to Malborne Way cyclepath, Blackmead, Bodesway and vice versa.The Order will come into operation on the 14/02/2025 and will continue until the gas pipe upgrade works have been completed or until the 13/08/2025, whichever is the earlier. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 – Rectory Lane, Glinton, Peterborough Ref: 25-258
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Rectory Lane, Glinton, as lies between B1443 High Street and The Lawn Cemetery. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. There is no alternative route for vehicles affected by this order (cul de sac). The proposed order will come into force on the 17/02/2025 and will continue until the new gas connection works have been completed or until the 16/02/2026, whichever is the earlier. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Eyebury Road, Eye, as lies between Little Close and Tanholt Cottages. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for
vehicles affected by this order is via: Oxney Road, Oxney Road Roundabout 70, Parnwell Way, Frank Perkins Parkway Roundabout 8, A1139 Paston Parkway, A47, Crowland Road and vice versa.
The proposed order will come into force on the 17/02/2025 and will continue until the new water mains connection works have been completed or until the 16/02/2026, whichever is the earlier.

The City of Peterborough Temporary 30mph Speed Restriction Order 2025 – A605 Stanground Bypass, Stanground, Peterborough Ref: 25-260
The effect of which is to impose a 30mph speed limit on the road known as A605 Stanground Bypass, Stanground as lies between Whittlesey Road and Apollo Avenue Roundabout. The proposed Order will come into operation on the 17/02/2025 and will continue until the LED lantern upgrade works have been completed or until the 16/08/2025, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be carried out overnight between 20:00hrs and 06:00hrs from the 17/02/2025 to the 28/02/2025. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as High Street, Glinton, as lies between the Lincoln Road junction and 7 High Street. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Lincoln Road, Glinton Bypass, Paston Parkway, A47, A16, B1443, St Pegas Road, Rectory Lane, St Pegas Road, Peakirk Road, High Street and vice versa. Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough intends in not less than seven days to make an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 – North Street Ref: 25-239
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as North Street, as lies between junction with Lincoln Road and a point approximately 30m eastwards. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Lincoln Road, Westgate, North Street and vice versa. The following restrictions will be suspended to facilitate these works. Vehicles Turn Right except buses and Cycles sign at the junction of Westgate and Lincoln Road, No Entry except buses sign at the junction of Westgate and Lincoln Road, No Entry signs at the junction of Westgate and North Street, and the One Way system on North Street. The proposed order will come into force on the 23/02/2025 and will continue until the service provision works have been completed or until the

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Woodcroft Road, Etton as lies between points 20 metres either side of Woodcroft Road Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: via Woodcroft Rd, Helpston Rd, Glinton Rd, West St, King St, Stamford Rd, and vice versa.The proposed Order will come into force on the 24/02/2025 and will continue until the railway level crossing maintenance works have been completed or until the 23/02/2026, whichever is the earlier. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Crowland Road, Eye Green, as lies between Verde Close and 85m south. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for
vehicles affected by this order is: B1443, B1040, A47 and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 24/02/2025 and will continue until the new electrical connection works have been completed or until the 23/02/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally

vehicles affected by this order is: Blackmead, Orton Busway, Blackmead and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 24/02/2025 and will continue until the gas main replacement works have been completed or until the 23/02/2026, whichever is the earlier. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Willesden Avenue, as lies between 98 and 102 Willesden Avenue. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for
vehicles affected by this order is: Churchfield Road, Montague Road, Fane Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 25/02/2025 and will continue until the defective reinstatement repair works have been completed or until the 24/02/2026, whichever is the earlier.

The effect of which is to stop any pedestrians or cyclists from proceeding along the footpath/cycle path known as Larch Grove Footpath, Dogsthorpe, as lies between 1-17.
Access will be maintained to properties affected by this Notice.
The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road.
There is no alternative route for pedestrians/cyclists affected by this order as access will be maintained.
This notice is made in the interest of resurfacing works and will remain effective for no more than 5 days from the 17/02/2025.
It is anticipated that the works will take place between 08:00hrs and 17:00hrs from the 17/02/2025 to the 21/02/2025.
The Notice shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which it is made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or any person acting with permission or upon the direction of a police Officer in uniform.
