Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Little Bourton, Chapel Lane Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 16/09/2024 Came into force: 23/09/2024 Further works commence: 17 February 2025

This Order was introduced because of water mains diversion and repairs storm drains which were undertaken between September and November 2024. Further works are required which are planned to be completed between 17 February and 14 March 2025.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the length of Chapel Lane from the junction of Southam Road to the junction of Pinson Close. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Chapel Lane, Spring Lane, Foxden Way, Crow Lane, Bourton Road, A423 and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T14938)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Bicester, Causeway Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 24/02/2025 Coming into force: 03/03/2025

This Order is being introduced because of highway electrical works which are anticipated to take 5 weeks to complete.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the Causeway. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Church Street, Kings End, Queens Avenue, Johns Street, B4100 and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T14357/RMF)
