PUBLIC NOTICE

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U11348 Resolution Way, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U11348 Resolution Way from its junction with U11306 Discovery Road to its junction with U11307 Power Station Road.

Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing by WCC.

Alternative route: U11306 Discovery Road, A4025 Worcester Road, U11307 Power Station Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 19 March 2025 and 2 April 2025.

(A448 Lodge Ford Hill/C2082 Fox Lane, Chaddesley Corbett) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1: A448 Lodge Ford Hill - from its junction with C2082 Fox Lane to its junction with C2018 Clattercut Lane. Closure 2: C2082 Fox Lane - from its junction with A448 Lodge Ford Hill for a distance of 100 metres in a south westerly direction.

Reason: Carriageway/footway reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: Closure 1 Diversion: A448 Lodge Ford Hill -A448 Kidderminster Road, A448 St. John Street, A448 The Strand, A448 Stratford Road, A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass, A38 Birmingham Road, A38 Lickey End Roundabout, A38 Birmingham Road, A38 Halesowen Road, A38 Lydiate Ash Roundabout, A491 Sandy Lane, A491 Stourbridge Road, A456 Kidderminster Road, A456 Kidderminster Road South, A456 Birmingham Road, A451 The Ringway, A448 Comberton Hill, A448 Comberton Road, A448 Stone Hill, A448 Bromsgrove Road and vice versa. Closure 2 Diversion: C2082 Fox Lane - C2082 Fox Lane, U13610 Dobes Road, A448 Bromsgrove Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 23 nights (19:00-05:00). Commencing: 10 March 2025.

(U10012 Jennings Wood Lane, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U10012 Jennings Wood Lane from its junction with C2195 Heightington Road for a distance of 230 metres in an easterly direction.

Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Alternative route: C2195 Heightington Road, U10011 Wylde Lane, C2021 Dunley Road, C2021 Dunley, A451 Dunley, U64219 Burnthorne Lane, U10012 Jennings Wood Lane (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days (24hrs). Commencing: 17 February 2025.

(A4535 Sutton Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of A4535 Sutton Road from its junction with U12131 Talbot Street to its junction with U12108 Poplar Road.

Reason: Manhole cover renewal by Severn Trent Water.

Alternative route: A4535 Sutton Road (part), A451 Stourport Road, A451 The Ringway, A456 St Marys Ringway, A456 Park Butts Ringway, A456 Bewdley Road, A4535 Sutton Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (20:00-06:00). Commencing: 18 February 2025.

(C2013 Caunsall Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of C2013 Caunsall Road from its junction with A449 Wolverhampton Road to its junction with New Road (NSG Ref. 45700707).

Reason: New customer connection by Severn Trent Water.

Alternative route: C2013 Caunsall Road (part), A449 Wolverhampton Road, C2283 Castle Road, C2013 Bridge Road, C2013 Caunsall Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 20 February 2025.

(A451 The Ringway, Kidderminster) (Southbound closure only) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of A451 The Ringway from its junction with A456 Coventry Street Roundabout for a distance of 85 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: Remedial works by Severn Trent Water.

No access for emergency vehicles. Diversion route must be followed.

Alternative route: A456 Coventry Street, A456 Birmingham Road, A449 Chester Road North, A448 Comberton Road. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (20:00 - 06:00). Commencing: 18 February 2025.

(C2017 Drayton Road, Belbroughton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2017 Drayton Road from its junction with U13601 Egg Lane to its junction with B4188 Hackmans Gate Lane.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Alternative route: B4188 Hackmans Gate Lane, A450 Worcester Road, C2185 Woodrow Lane, U13605 Woodrow Lane, C2017 Drayton Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days between 7 March 2025 and 20 March 2025.

EXEMPTIONS: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Wyre Forest District - Bewdley area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2025 [Prohibition of Waiting on Richmond Road, Bewdley]

On 30 January 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Bewdley:-Richmond Road (Southeast side): from a point 13.5 metres southwest of its junction with Lyttleton Road to its junction with Church View.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 20 February 2025. A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be downloaded at the Wyre Forest Public Notice Page on the Worcestershire County Council Website or inspected at Kidderminster Library, Market Street, Kidderminster DY10 1AD and Wildwood, Wildwood Drive, Worcester WR5 2QT during normal office hours.

The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

(A456 West of Kidderminster) (30mph,40mph and 50mph Speed Limit) (Revocation and Proposal) Order 2025

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to impose the speed limit on the following lengths of road on the A456 West of Kidderminster: -30 miles per hour on the following roads:

A456 Callow Hill from a point 82m southwest of its junction with A4117 Cleobury Road to a point 178m east of its junction with Lye Head Road.

A4117 Cleobury Road from its junction with A456 Callow Hill for a distance of 190m in a north westerly direction.

C2021 Bliss Gate Road from its junction with A456 Callow Hill for a distance of 29m in a southerly direction.

40 miles per hour on the following roads:

A456 Pound Bank from a point 82m southwest of its junction with A4117 Cleobury Road to a point 45m southwest of its junction with UC10004 (Pound Bank).

C2193 from its junction with A456 for a distance of 80m in a southerly direction.

UC10004 (Pound Bank) from its junction with A456 for a distance of 270m in a northerly direction.

C2021 (Bliss Gate Road) from a point 29m south of its junction with A456 in a generally southerly direction to a point 340m south of its junction with Dark Lane.

50 miles per hour on the following roads:

A456 Long Bank from a point 178m east of its junction with Lye Head Road to its junction with A456 Long bank roundabout.

A456 Long Bank Roundabout - over its entire length.

A456 Bewdley Bypass from its junction with A456 Long bank roundabout to its junction with A456 Bewdley Bypass/Catchems End roundabout.

A456 Bewdley Bypass/Blackstone roundabout - over its entire length.

A456 Bewdley Bypass/Catchems End roundabout - over its entire length.

A456 Kidderminster Road from its junction with A456 Bewdley Bypass/Catchems End roundabout to its junction with A456 Bewdley Hill.

A456 Bewdley Hill from its junction with A456 Kidderminster Road to a point 110m west of its junction with The Lea. There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles. (St John's Avenue, Kidderminster) (No Stopping on School Entrance Markings) Order 2025

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit stopping at any time on School Entrance Markings on the following length of road in Kidderminster:-

St John's Avenue (North side) - from a point of 282.5 metres west of its junction with Blakebrook for a distance of 40.5 metres. The Order will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes.
